Advised the California Public Health Office of School Health and over 300 people including local health jurisdictions, school-based health providers (nurses, psychologists, etc.), school administrators, and community based organizations in California

Invited to advise key federal agencies under the Biden Administration including SAMHSA, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Public Engagement, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, and DOE

Participated in the CDC’s social media campaign to share English and Spanish social media posts featuring youth perspectives on mental health. For the series, CDC posted 22 quote graphics from six MHA youth leaders on X (Twitter). CDC/DASH shared the “#YouthVoices” series throughout the Back-to-School season, generating nearly 60,000 impressions and 575 engagements.

khipú’s Executive Director, José Caballero, was invited to advise the Biden-Harris White House on the federal-funded 988 suicide hotline prevention.
